“The cadet who is suspected of being involved in the incident will provide his statement later today at Cheras police station. The case is being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal Code,” Comm Rusdi explained.

Public Urged to Avoid Speculation

The police chief also appealed to the public not to speculate on the case.

“We urge everyone to allow the police to conduct their investigation without interference,” he said.

Details of the Alleged Bullying Incident

The incident revolves around allegations of bullying at UPNM that caused injury to the victim.

According to a police report filed on November 8 at 8:40 pm, the victim, a first-year student, suffered injuries after a roll call on October 21.
