Deadly Shooting in Villahermosa

Early Sunday morning, a shooting at a bar in Villahermosa, Tabasco, left six dead and five injured. Public Safety Secretary Omar García Harfuch stated that federal authorities are working with local officials to investigate.

This attack adds to Mexico’s growing violence, with over 450,000 homicides since 2006. Earlier this month, a similar bar shooting in Querétaro killed 10 people.
