Disturbing Discovery Leads to Police Involvement
PETALING JAYA: A 15-year-old girl was safely rescued after being abducted, with police arresting seven suspects, including two women.
According to South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong, the girl’s father filed a police report on November 18 after receiving a concerning voice message from her phone. The teen had left home around 4pm, and when she failed to return by 6:30pm, her father tried to contact her.
The Unsettling Messages and Search for the Teenager
“When he reached out, he heard a message instructing him to meet her at a spot in Subang, mentioning an argument with a man,” ACP Cha explained, as reported by Sinar Harian.
However, when the father arrived, his daughter was missing. Shortly after, he received another WhatsApp message claiming the teenager had been dropped off somewhere in Kuala Lumpur.
The Rescue and Arrests
Police acted quickly, tracking down the abductors to an apartment in i-City, Shah Alam, around 11pm. The teenager was found unharmed, and three males and two females, aged between 15 and 19, were arrested.
ACP Cha further stated that hours later, another operation near Mid Valley Megamall led to the detention of two more suspects, aged 16 and 18. None of the arrested individuals had prior criminal records, and all are currently in custody for further investigation
