
EcoWorld Disposes of Johor Industrial Land for RM119 Million
PETALING JAYA: Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) has finalized a deal to sell 32.9 acres of industrial land in Johor to Deye New Energy for RM119 million.
According to a statement from EcoWorld Malaysia, the land is situated within Eco Business Park II in Senai, Iskandar Malaysia.
Strategic Importance of the Deal
Liew Tian Xiong, the deputy CEO of EcoWorld Malaysia, highlighted that this transaction reinforces the appeal of Eco Business Parks among Chinese investors, especially those engaged in high-tech, emerging industries.

“As a leading provider of solar photovoltaic solutions, Deye’s establishment in our business park supports our commitment to fostering environmentally responsible businesses,” Liew noted.

Deye’s Investment in Malaysia EcoWorld
Deye is affiliated with Ningbo Deye Technology Co, a Chinese firm specializing in power inverters. The company has outlined plans to inject up to US$150 million into a Malaysian manufacturing hub for solar equipment.
Ningbo Deye is a well-established high-tech company with a strong presence in the global solar inverter market.
