Kulai OCPD Asst Comm Tan Seng Lee stated that the suspect is being investigated under Section 428 of the Penal Code and Section 29(1)(a) of the Animal Welfare Act 2015. He is expected to appear before the Kulai Magistrate’s Court on February 28. If convicted, the suspect could face serious legal penalties.
