Chinese Tourist Complains About Pricey Noodle Dish

A Chinese tourist recently posted a video online, complaining about a 68 yuan ($10) bowl of noodles at Xi’an Hyatt Hotel’s Xiuqiao Chinese Restaurant.

The bowl allegedly contained only one noodle and two scallions. The video quickly went viral, sparking widespread discussion.

The hotel responded, explaining that the restaurant operates as a buffet, where the noodle dish actually costs 48 yuan ($7) and can be refilled as much as desired.

The hotel added that the tourist had requested a large bowl, which could be filled upon request. The tourist has since deleted the video following a backlash.
