Reclusive Behaviour Noticed by Neighbours
KUALA LUMPUR: A man suspected of murdering his mother and hiding her body in a freezer for three years was known for his reclusive behaviour in Taman OUG. Residents described him as someone who avoided interaction and rarely left his home.
Limited Sightings Over the Past Weeks
A neighbour, who asked not to be named, shared that the man, in his 50s, had been seen only a few times recently, notably in the past two weeks. “He usually leaves in his car, possibly to buy food, and returns shortly,” the neighbour said.
Lack of Interaction with Others
Another long-time resident, who has lived in the area for half a century, emphasized the suspect’s tendency to keep to himself. “He doesn’t engage with others around here,” the neighbour explained.
Concerns About the Elderly Mother
The deceased, a woman in her 80s, had not been seen for a while, according to one neighbour. Meanwhile, another resident mentioned that the suspect’s house was mostly in darkness. “It’s unusual; we suspect he had a stroke,” she remarked.
Police Investigation and Discovery
The case took a dark turn on Tuesday when police were alerted to the discovery of the mother’s body in a freezer. Authorities have confirmed that the case is being investigated as a murder.
